Went cycling tonight with the intention of building confidence and fitness for next week’s holiday – I’d like to be able to do two consecutive days cycling: One day I’d like to cycle around lake Como and the other day I’d like to do a high-mountain day. The cycle was not good tonight. I felt flat for the entire duration and managed a measly 28,5km/h average speed. I don’t know what was the matter – maybe I’m carrying a virus or something… Also, I was on my feet all day today from 7.00 until 19:15 when I eventually got out the door on the bike. I’m tired/upset/confused and probably sick… It is only cycling though!
As much as I’d love to cycle again today I feel it’s time to get a good long run done. In the morning I did some simple strength exercises:

“-” : knuckles perpendicular to body
- Push-ups:7,7,7,10(|),7,7,7,10(-),15(|),12(-) – total 88
- Stretch cords for about 5 minutes (mainly focusing on the catch)
