Despite STILL feeling pain from Friday’s ‘shock’ run session, I decided to run tonight. I ran the 10k trail in a not too shabby 44:30. The data that tells the tale is my HR: 160 average! This is about 6 bpm higher than when I consider myself reasonable fit. Midnattsloppet will be a bit of a struggle… Still though I WILL NOT run slower than 40 minutes.
It’s now Monday; 60 hours after my run and I’m still hurting! I was able to get out on the bike for 2:30 yesterday which was nice. I’ll most likely take another day off and then run again tomorrow.
Midnattsloppet will not be pretty!
